The restaurant has adapted its architecture and revolutionized its shapes, wrapping in noble garments embroidered following Nigel Coates style. The English designer, contextualizing the space and emphasizing the structure, suggests an environment that guests the public between the two lyrical acts and, at the same time, incorporates all the elements. Conscious of Fratelli Boffi expertise, Coates involved the factory in manufacturing all the furniture. The revisiting of classical baroque in a “Scubism” style turns the restaurant in an extension of the stage: thanks to an accurate research of colors, finishings and experiences of the factory, the ambitious idea of incorporating the dinner into the lyrical experience of Glyndebourne has been completely realized.
