Cristián Mohaded is an Industrial Designer born in a rural area of Argentina (Catamarca) in 1980. He graduated from the National University of Córdoba. Immediately after graduating, he moved to Buenos Aires, where he established his studio.
Today, Cristián Mohaded is a prolific designer, decorator, and artistic director, and is a well-known figure in the field of Argentine design. In 2013, the Twist #2 chair (designed in collaboration with Architect Ricardo Blanco) was selected by Dominique Forest and approved by the museum committee to become part of the permanent design collection of the "Musée Les Arts Décoratifs" in Paris, thus becoming the first Argentine product in this collection.
Recently, the designer was selected for Maison&Objet Americas 2015 along with seven other emerging talents from North and South America as "Rising American Talent." Each of them represents their own country and reflects the innovative and emerging talent in their respective field of design.
