Marc Krusin graduatedin the UK, at Leeds Metropolitan Universityand after placements with Fred ScottandGeorge Sowden, he began his career in Milan collaborating as a designer with various studios. Theseinclude Piero Lissoni’s office, where hebecamedesign managerand associate,runningprojectsrangingfrom industrial design to interior and exhibition designfor clients of international reputation such as Alessi,Kartell, Flos,Living Divani,Thonet,Wella, Procter and Gamble,andFritz Hansenas well as other privateclients in the architectural field.
In 1998 he co-founded the Milan based group Codice 31, which in successive years gained increasingimportance in the design world, collaborating with some of the sector’s most prestigious companies.In1999Marcbegan designing products and furniture for industrial productionwhile also working on projectsof a more experimental nature for exhibitionssuch as Opos in Milan, in which he participated in 1999 and 2001.In 2003 he participated in two cultural exhibitions during theMilanfurniture fair;“Copper Connects Life ”and“ PVC for life and Living”at the Torre Branca.
In 2004, Marc was asked to participate as one of the guest designers at Stylepark’s stand attheOrgatectrade fair in Cologne, Germany.
Since 2004 he has collaborated with Omnidecor and in 2006 aseries of Marc’s patterns for float glass werecommercialised marking the beginning of a close working relationshipwhichhas included the overseeing ofthe companies’product ranges and the completere-designing ofallexhibition standsand interiorspacesforthe company.
In 2007 Marc presented together with Piero Lissoni, the office furniture system WA for Knoll International, acollaboration whichbegan a new phase in the history of the well knowncompanyandwhichresulted in thedesigning of their new offices and showroom in Londonin 2009.In addition to designing, Marchas taught on a weekly basis with Piero Lissoni at the Scuola Politecnica inMilan and hasrun workshops at Victoria UniversityandRMITUniversityin Australia, and Valencia Universityin Spain.
Now with offices in Milan and,since 2010, in London,Marchas continued to design furniture, products,exhibitions andinteriorspaces forclients Fontana Arte, Pallucco Italia, SaporitiItalia, Bosa Ceramiche,Viccarbe,Andreu World,Gandiablasco,Grupo T,Liv’it, Koziol, Omnidecor, Merten,Glas Italia, BussoandKnoll
