1940 – 1950
That is how the innovative style was created and later developed. In the 50s, by Federico, Roberto and Michele Boffi. New materials and technologies were added (solid wood, lacquering, padding…), giving a sophisticated and international soul to the company, which allowed collaboration with the most important department stores in Europe and America. During the 50s, Boffi’s pieces of furniture became like fabric resembling Dior’s look, where the “flower woman” was the fashion counterpart of Boffi’s revolutionary concept.
